      A Wild Two Weeks Ahead

The next couple of weeks are shaping up to be some of the busiest—and most meaningful—of my year. Between my work as a Wounded Warrior Project spokesperson, the Nashville Veterans Day Parade, and the release of my self-titled EP on November 11, it’s full speed ahead with no pit stops in sight.

      The Music and the Mission

I’m proud to spend this time of year representing Wounded Warrior Project, sharing stories that matter, and standing beside veterans and families who’ve carried more than most can imagine. It’s a reminder of why I do what I do.

Then, on Veterans Day, the new music officially drops—and we’re celebrating big with an EP Release Party at Jellyroll’s Goodnight Nashville Bar from 12–5 PM. The full band hits the stage from 4–5, and I can’t wait to play these songs live and loud for the first time.

      Why It Matters

It’s a lot of miles, soundchecks, and long days—but I wouldn’t trade it. Music and service have always gone hand in hand for me, and this stretch is where those worlds collide in the best way possible.

If you’re in town, come out to Jellyroll’s or wave at the Veterans Day Parade. If not, hit that pre-save and help spread the word—your support means everything.

      See y’all out there. 🇺🇸🎶

      Big Things Coming

I’m counting down the days until my EP drops, and man… it’s a mix of excitement and stress like I’ve never felt before. Between working, writing, and making sure I keep up with social media to get the word out, it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day. But the truth is, things are going really well, and that’s what keeps me moving forward.

One of the highlights lately was getting to play with Jake Worthington at Operation Cherrybend. What an incredible night—great music, great people, and a reminder of why I do what I do. Those moments on stage recharge me even when I’m running on empty.

And speaking of things I’m looking forward to… we’re throwing an EP release party at Jelly Rolls rooftop bar in Nashville on the 11th. It’s going to be a night full of music, friends, and celebrating everything that’s led to this moment. If you’re in town, I’d love to see you there.

Lately though, I’ve also had a lot on my mind. With everything going on in the country, all the violence we’ve been seeing, I keep thinking about a song I wrote called “Fixin’ to Blow.” It’s about not wanting to see war take root here at home. I’ve seen firsthand what war looks like, and I can promise you—it ain’t pretty, folks. Music has always been how I make sense of the world, and maybe it’s time I record that one and put it out there.

So yeah, I’m stressed, but it’s the good kind of stress—the kind that comes when you know something big is around the corner. Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and supporting this journey. Stay tuned, because the best is yet to come.

Some Upcoming Shows I'm Really Excited About

Got a few shows coming up that I wanted to share—these are the kind that really mean something to me.

📍 July 31 – Tee Off for Heroes Party – Annbriar Golf Course, Waterloo, IL
This one’s always a good time. Great folks, great cause, and usually a few surprises. Looking forward to playing some tunes and hanging out under the stars.

📍 August 12 – VFW National Convention – Columbus, OH
Honored to be part of this one. There’s nothing like being in a room full of people who’ve served. I’m bringing the songs and a few stories too.

📍 August 23 – Hamilton County Military & Veterans Appreciation Day – Cincinnati, OH
Can’t wait for this. It’s all about recognizing veterans and military families, and I’m proud to be a small part of it. Hoping to see some familiar faces out there.

If you’re nearby, come on out. Shake my hand, sing along, or just come for the music and good people. More shows are always in the works, but these three are coming up fast—and they’re going to be special.

      Life Update: Music Video Mayhem

Last week I filmed the music video for my upcoming single Alabama Breathing, and things got a little more real than planned.

There’s a fight scene in the video. We had stunt guys, choreographed hits, the whole deal. But during one of the takes, one of the stunt guys actually got his nose broken. No joke. He went to the hospital, got checked out, and came back a couple hours later ready to finish the job. Total pro.

The shoot was wild in the best way. Dust, sweat, punches (fake and not-so-fake), and a whole lot of adrenaline. It was unpredictable, intense, and one of the most fun things I’ve ever worked on.

Alabama Breathing is a gritty song with some heat behind it, and we wanted the video to carry that same energy. Judging by how the day went, I’d say mission accomplished.

The single’s on the way soon. When the video drops, you’ll see exactly what kind of chaos we signed up for.

New Shows Coming Up – See You There?

Hey everyone! I’ve got a few new shows coming up, and I’m really looking forward to them. If you’re nearby, come hang!

📍 April 18 – TN Craft Butcher (Murfreesboro, TN)
This one’s gonna be a fun, intimate set in Murfreesboro. Good food, great people, and live music—what more do you need?

📍 May 8 – Heroes of Military Medicine Banquet (Washington, DC)
I’m honored to be part of this event recognizing those who make a difference in military medicine. It’s a meaningful night, and I’m grateful to be involved.

📍 September 12 – Operation Cherrybend (Wilmington, OH)
This one’s really special. Operation Cherrybend supports veterans, and I can’t wait to be part of such an incredible cause.

Mark your calendars, and if you can make it to a show, I’d love to see you there! More dates are always in the works, so keep an eye on my website for updates.

Let me know if you’re coming to a show—can’t wait!

Big News: New Show & Website Update!

Hey everyone, I’ve got some exciting updates! First—huge news—I’m playing the Grand Ole Opry again on May 20th! It’s always such an incredible experience, and I’m so pumped to be back. If you can make it, I’d love to see you there!

Second, I finally finished setting up my website! It now has an online store (so you can grab merch anytime) and a full list of upcoming shows so you can keep up with where I’ll be next. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Check it out, mark your calendars for May 20th, and let me know what you think! More fun things coming soon

      I’m Officially a Signed Artist!

This is not a drill—I’m officially a signed recording artist!

Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed about this moment—writing songs, singing into my hairbrush, pretending my bedroom was a sold-out arena. And now, thanks to Label 22 Records, that dream is real.

Younger me would be losing their mind right now (honestly, same). There’s a lot of work ahead, but for now, I’m just soaking it in. I’m a signed artist. This is the dream. And it’s only the beginning.

Mission: Build a Website (and Stay Sane)

They say anyone can build a website these days. "It’s easy!" they said. "Just drag and drop!" they promised. And yet, here I am, staring at my computer like it just insulted my mother.

It all started with a simple dream: I wanted a sleek, professional website. A digital home for my ideas, my work, and—let’s be real—proof that I exist on the internet beyond my social media profiles. I imagined a beautifully designed homepage, smooth navigation, and maybe even a tasteful pop-up (yes, those exist).

What I got was an existential crisis.

Between balancing work, family, and the great mystery of what my toddler just put in her mouth, I squeezed in time to tackle this beast. But every time I sat down to work on it, something went terribly wrong.

One minute, I’m confidently choosing a theme; the next, I’ve somehow deleted my entire homepage. I tried to add a button—now my text is in five different fonts, none of which I picked. I watched a tutorial that assured me I could have a stunning website in "just 10 minutes!" Thirty minutes later, I was Googling "Why does my website hate me?"

Yet, despite my growing collection of error messages, I remain optimistic. I’ve mastered tougher challenges—like answering emails while simultaneously making dinner and preventing a child from coloring on the walls. Surely, I can conquer a website builder.

So, if you hear frustrated sighs coming from my direction, just know it’s me, waging war with a rogue sidebar. But rest assured, this website will happen. It may take coffee, late nights, and a possibly unhealthy amount of marijuana, but I will emerge victorious.

And when it’s done, I expect applause. Or at least someone to confirm that my "Contact Me" form actually works.
