Big Things Coming

I’m counting down the days until my EP drops, and man… it’s a mix of excitement and stress like I’ve never felt before. Between working, writing, and making sure I keep up with social media to get the word out, it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day. But the truth is, things are going really well, and that’s what keeps me moving forward.

One of the highlights lately was getting to play with Jake Worthington at Operation Cherrybend. What an incredible night—great music, great people, and a reminder of why I do what I do. Those moments on stage recharge me even when I’m running on empty.

And speaking of things I’m looking forward to… we’re throwing an EP release party at Jelly Rolls rooftop bar in Nashville on the 11th. It’s going to be a night full of music, friends, and celebrating everything that’s led to this moment. If you’re in town, I’d love to see you there.

Lately though, I’ve also had a lot on my mind. With everything going on in the country, all the violence we’ve been seeing, I keep thinking about a song I wrote called “Fixin’ to Blow.” It’s about not wanting to see war take root here at home. I’ve seen firsthand what war looks like, and I can promise you—it ain’t pretty, folks. Music has always been how I make sense of the world, and maybe it’s time I record that one and put it out there.

So yeah, I’m stressed, but it’s the good kind of stress—the kind that comes when you know something big is around the corner. Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and supporting this journey. Stay tuned, because the best is yet to come.
